Separation of Enterprise Services business unlocks a stronger, more focused HPE
Transaction delivers approximately $13.5 billion in expected after-tax value to HPE and its stockholders
As expected, HPE adjusts FY17 outlook to reflect the completion of the spin-off
PALO ALTO, Calif., April 03, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE:HPE) ("HPE") today announced that it has successfully completed the previously announced separation of its Enterprise Services business (“ES” or “Everett Spinco”), and merged it with Computer Sciences Corporation (“CSC”) to create DXC Technology (“DXC”).
A Stronger HPE
The spin-merge of the ES business unlocks a stronger, more focused HPE, well positioned to compete and win in today’s rapidly changing market.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE Stock Report ) is another tech stock that is bucking the trend in the stock market. This came after the company reported better than expected financial results for the fourth quarter, ended October 31, 2020. HPE reported revenue near to pre-pandemic levels of $7.2 billion, up 6% from the prior quarter and flat from the prior-year period. The company also raised guidance for the 2021 fiscal year.
“The global pandemic has forced businesses to rethink everything from remote work and collaboration to business continuity and data insight”, “Over the last several months, customers have increasingly turned to HPE for our unique capabilities from edge to cloud that help them empower their workforces, deploy resilient new IT solutions and extract insights from critical data, while consuming these solutions more flexibly as a service.”- Antonio Neri, president, and CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise
Apart from reporting strong fiscal results, the company also announced that it's moving its corporate headquarters to Houston from San Jose, California. That's an unconventional shift for a company with deep roots in the Bay Area. The company joins a list of other tech companies that are moving out of California."....

Q1 2021 Quartalszahlen
https://www.zacks.com/stock/news/1272728/...s-revenues-beat-estimates
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company delivered first-quarter fiscal 2021 non-GAAP earnings of 52 cents per share, which surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 30%. The reported figure also came in higher than the year-ago number of 44 cents.
Revenues of $6.83 billion were down 1.7% from the prior-year quarter. However, the reported figure beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $6.78 billion.
The top line was affected by lower revenues from HPC & MCS businesses. However, strong growth in Intelligent Edge was a positive.
Also, growing traction of its cloud-native Aruba Edge Services platform has benefited the company’s quarterly results.
Further, the annualized revenue run-rate (ARR) was up 27% year over year to $649 million.
