 WINNEMUCCA - In response to recent reports their South African counterpart was filing for the US equivalency of bankruptcy protection, Great Basin Gold representatives moved to ensure employees and the community the northern Nevada operations would continue mining gold.
 
Great Basin Gold subsidiaries in Nevada include Rodeo Creek Gold (the Hollister Mine), north of Winnemucca, Antler Peak Gold, near Hawthorne, and Pinnacle Lab in Pershing County.
