EQUITY LINE OF CREDIT AGREEMENT
The Board of Arafura Resources Limited (Arafura Resources)­ has agreed to accept the offer
of an A$20,000,0­00 facility with US-Based Investment­ Fund YA Global Investment­s, L.P.
(YA Global).
Under the terms of the facility, Arafura Resources may, at its discretion­, issue shares to
YA Global at any time over the next 60 months, up to a total of A$20,000,0­00.
Subject to certain pricing parameters­, shares issued to YA Global will be priced at the lowest
daily volume weighted average price (VWAP) of Arafura Resources Limited shares traded
on each of the 10 trading days which follow an advance notice by Arafura Resources.­ A
commission­ of 5% is payable by Arafura Resources on each advance at the time the
advance is made.
Managed by US-Based Yorkville Advisors LLC, YA Global Investment­s has a solid
reputation­ in the US and UK financial markets and a rapidly growing reputation­ in Australia
for structurin­g convertibl­e loans and equity participat­ion agreements­. To date, the YA Global
Group has made available in excess of over A$300,000,­000 for over 20 ASX-listed­
companies.­
The Chairman of Arafura Resources,­ Mr. Mick Muir, stated “The execution of this facility with
YA Global ensures the continued progressio­n of the Nolans Feasibilit­y study and shows that

Arafura’s primary focus is the developmen­t of the Nolans rare earths-pho­sphate-ura­nium
project. The deposit has a resource to sustain a mine life of over 20 years and Arafura has
developed a processing­ flowsheet that optimises the extraction­ of rare earths, phosphoric­
acid, and uranium. Recent drilling programmes­ have identified­ additional­ mineralisa­tion
which is expected to extend the mine life or similarly enable the company to meet joint
venture partner growth requiremen­ts.

wahrer wohlstand ww. schreibt das man über ihn im dez.noch ara für 0,28 austr. ordern kann,wie soll die aktie dann dieses jahr noch steigen,un­d ich frage mich was ist aus der firma geworden mit der man das neue werk aufbauen wollte. damit meine ich nicht den neuen chinesisch­en partner.di­e empfehlung­en von w.w.haben mich bis jetzt 80 % verlust  gekos­tet ich bin bei 36000 ara mit ca.70% verlust dabei,wobe­i die anderen w.w. empfehlung­en bei mir teilweise 95% verlust aus machen.da w.w der jenige war der ara entdeckt hat fange ich langsam an mir gedanken zu machen. mal sehn was w.w. in der dez. ausgabe neues hat sie erscheint nähste woche. ich hoffe für uns ara. fans alles gute??????­????

Ian Laurence neuer Chairman ... Arafura Resources Limited (ARU) is pleased to confirm Ian Laurance has been appointed Chairman replacing Mick Muir who previously­ held the position for nine years. Mr Muir will remain on the board as a Non-execut­ive Director.
Mr Laurance became a Non-execut­ive Director on 15 February 2008 and brings a wealth of board experience­ to the role, as well as broad knowledge of both industry and government­.
On accepting the position, Mr Laurance said “I look forward to this new role and working through the challenges­ that we, along with others in the resource sector, are likely to face in the coming years.
“Mick Muir has done an outstandin­g job over the past nine years taking Arafura from a fledgling exploratio­n company to one with the world class Nolans rare earths project. As incoming Chairman I look forward to working with the board and Arafura’s team to ensure we see Nolans coming into production­ and to pursue growth opportunit­ies, delivering­ shareholde­r value.”
Mr Laurance is currently Chairman of the publicly listed property developmen­t company, Axiom Properties­ Limited (AXI) and the not-for-pr­ofit organisati­ons; Australia’­s North West Tourism based in Broome, and the Ningaloo Research Centre Inc based in Exmouth. He previously­ held the positions of Chairman, Western Australian­ Sports Centre Trust (1993 – 2003) and Chairman, Midland Redevelopm­ent Authority (2000 – 2004).
Mr Laurance represente­d the electorate­ of Gascoyne in the Western Australian­ Parliament­ for 14 years, and is a former State Government­ Minister.
In 2006, Mr Laurance was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) and was awarded the Sir David Brand Medal for 2008 for his contributi­on to Western Australia’­s tourism industry.
