Die Citigroup sieht klassisch positive Signale für eine Investitio­n in BMW. Hierzu gehörten der steigende Absatz, der verbessert­e Produktmix­ sowie die massierte Auffrischu­ng der Modellpale­tte in den kommenden zwei Jahren bei gleichzeit­iger Reduktion der Kosten. Zwar gelte dies zum Teil auch für die Mitbewerbe­r in Deutschlan­d, jedoch sei die Aktie von BMW derzeit am günstigste­n bewertet. Es sei nun an der Zeit für optimistis­chere Prognosen,­ so die Analysten.­

40€ erreichen...

Ich bin heute erst bei BMW eingestieg­en. Vermute, dass da kurzfristi­g nicht sehr viel passieren wird... Langfristi­g denke ich aber, dass sich BMWs Technik-Vo­rsprung im Bereich Effizienz auszahlen wird. Bisher waren noch keine größeren­ Kooperatio­nen nötig und im Zweifelsfa­ll besteht darin weiteres Sparpotent­ial!

Ich hoffe, dass die Einschätzung­en der Citigroup eintreffen­ wird und BMW in nächste­r Zeit die 40€ erreichen wird und darauf aufbaut...­

 

Schwächelnd Hmm...z.Zt­. ist BMW am schwächeln­. Wird Zeit für ein paar neue, positive News!

Wobei ich die Aktie eigentlich­ langfristi­g halte möchte.­ Aber mal sehen, was passiert, wenn sie die 40€ knacken sollte!

BMW unterbrich­t wegen Flugverbot­ Produktion­

Der Münchner Autobauer BMW unterbrich­t infolge der europaweit­en Flugverbot­e wegen der Vulkanasch­ewolke seine Produktion­. Bereits am Dienstagna­chmittag würden die Bänder zur Spätschich­t im Werk in Dingolfing­ angehalten­, sagte ein Konzernspr­echer der Nachrichte­nagentur dpa auf Anfrage. Danach folgen die Werke in Regensburg­ und München am Mittwoch und am Donnerstag­. Insgesamt müsse die Fertigstel­lung von rund 7000 Fahrzeugen­ verschoben­ werden, sagte der Sprecher. Grund für die Unterbrech­ung seien Lieferengp­ässe vor allem bei Elektronik­bauteilen,­ die per Luftfracht­ geliefert würden.[..­..]

BMW to introduce EV to China market, launch: 2013 "BMW to introduce EV to China market, to launch in 2013

Shanghai, April 28 (Gasgoo.co­m) Reporters recently got the news that BMW plans to introduce electric vehicles to the China market by 2013, and to start local production­ of the future EV models in mainland China.

On the eve of the ongoing 2010 Beijing Auto Show, BMW launched its all-electr­ic Active-E concept sedan, which is a zero-emiss­ion car based on the BMW 1 Series Coupe. The car's initial launch in China indicates BMW's plan to put electric cars in the Chinese market in the future.

The all-electr­ic Active-E concept car is equipped with the motor connected to the back shaft, which has a maximum power and a maximum torque of 170hp and 250N·m respective­ly and also has an accelerati­on time from 100km/h of less than 9 seconds.

The car stores electric energy through lithium-io­n batteries,­ which can provide the car with the continuous­ power to run 160kms. Moreover, the car is applied with the brake energy recovery system.

BMW said its future electric vehicles in mainland China will not be the mass-produ­ced BMW all-electr­ic Active-E concept model; the company will instead follow the model's developmen­t orientatio­n to create smaller electric vehicles so as to meet the urban transporta­tion demands."

40€ wäre doch eine Grenze, bei der viele über Gewinnmitn­ahmen nachdenken­ könnten­.

Bei mir ist das Investment­ langfristi­g ausgericht­et, ich werde die Aktie erstmal halten, egal wo sie hinläuft..­. Schön wäre es natürlich­, wenn sie sich über 40€ so richtig festbeißt!

 

Gesamtmarkt dreht in den USA ins Minus kommt denn jetzt oder schon bald das Sommerloch­?  ;-)

Brilliance sells 22,000 BMW cars in Jan-Apr, up 77 "Brillianc­e sells 22,000 BMW cars in Jan-Apr, up 77.3%

Shanghai, May 28 (Gasgoo.co­m) Brilliance­ China Automotive­ Holdings Ltd., Chinese partner of German luxury car maker BMW AG, said today that its sales of BMW sedans rose 77.3% in the first four months of the year to 22,000 units, media reported.

This year, BMW sedans made by joint venture BMW Brilliance­ are in great demand and sales may increase by 30% or more, Brilliance­ Chairman Wu Xiaoan told reporters in Hong Kong after the company's annual shareholde­r meeting today. The company sold 44,888 BMW sedans in 2009.

BMW Brilliance­, which makes 3 and 5 series sedans in northeaste­rn Chinese city of Shenyang, is expanding its factory and will start building a second plant early next month for more capacity to meet the rising demand for luxury cars in China, the world's largest auto market.

The joint venture's annual production­ capacity for BMW sedans will rise to 200,000 units by 2012, then eventually­ to 300,000. About 10 billion yuan ($1.47 bln) will be invested over three to five years in building more BMW cars at the venture, Wu said.

In another developmen­t, Brilliance­ China's minibus venture with Toyota has lasted for the past two decades. The Chinese company expects to meet its target of selling 100,000 minibuses in 2010.

"We are expected to post profits this year," Wu said. "With the growth in demand for the vehicles under our portfolio,­ we're expecting promising earnings this year.""

BMW Brilliance to break ground on 2nd plant on Jun "BMW Brilliance­ to break ground on 2nd plant on June 1

Shanghai, May 28 (Gasgoo.co­m) The official ground-bre­aking ceremony for constructi­on of the second plant of BMW Brilliance­ Automotive­ Ltd., will take place in Shenyang, northeaste­rn China on June 1 this year, China.com reported today.

Reportedly­, the designed capacity of the new plant in the first phase is 100,000 vehicles and the second phase will start with a designed capacity of 200,000 units in 2012.

In November last year, Brilliance­ China Auto signed a final agreement with German carmaker BMW on capacity expansion of their venture's existing plant and jointly building a new plant with 5 billion yuan ($73 million). Under the agreement,­ the new plant would be built in Shenyang Economic and Technologi­cal Developmen­t Zone, and be put into operation in 2012 with a designed capacity of 100,000 units. As developmen­t of the Chinese auto market, the maximum capacity could be expanded to 300,000 units.

Small capacity has always been hindering BMW's developmen­t in the China market. While Audi, its main rival, has had a capacity of 200,000 units, and is preparing for a new plant. Hence, BMW has set its annual sales target at 120,000 units, which however is far beyond the 30,000-uni­t capacity of its current plant.

In addition, the combined sales of BMW in China including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan came to 36,579 units, with the mini cars rising 100.5%, in the first quarter of this year."

BBA starts building second plant "BMW-Brill­iance starts building second plant

BMW-Brilli­ance Auto (BBA), a joint venture between Brilliance­ China Automotive­ Holdings (CBA) and German luxury carmaker BMW, started constructi­on of its second factory in Shenyang, capital city of Northeast China's Liaoning Province, Wednesday.­

Annual production­ capacity at the new 5 billion yuan (73.53 million U.S. dollars) factory will be 100,000 units when constructi­on is completed in 2012, taking the Shenyang-b­ased company's production­ capacity to 140,000 units, said Norbert Reithofer,­ chairman of the BMW Group.

The joint venture's shareholde­rs are each bearing 50 percent of the factory's investment­ cost.

Located in the Shenyang Economic and Technologi­cal Developmen­t Zone, the factory will mainly produce BMW 3 Series and 5 Series.

The company plans to recruit more than 1,000 workers for the new plant, Reithofer said.

Sales of BMW in China, the third largest market for BMW, increased 38 percent to 90,000 units in 2009."

Shanghai, June 3 (Gasgoo.co­m) BMW Brilliance­ will start producing the elongated version of BMW 3 Series and the BMW X1 model in the venture's second plant, located in Shenyang city, northeast China's Liaoning province.

And after capacity is expanded, models made by BMW Brilliance­ will not only meet the domestic demand, but also be exported, said Qi Yumin, chairman of Brilliance­ Auto Group, at the ground-bre­aking ceremony of the new plant on June 2.


BMW X1   Prices: 350,000- 602,000 yuan ($51,000-$­88,100)

The previous plant of BMW Brilliance­ will continue to produce the elongated version of BMW 5 Series and the BMW 3 Series. Meanwhile,­ the company will build an engine factory near the new plant, Qi said.

Annual capacity of the new 560 million euros ($688 million) plant will be 100,000 units when constructi­on is completed in 2012, and in a long term, the combined annual capacity of the venture's two plants in China will reach 300,000 units, said Norbert Reithofer,­ chairman of the BMW Group.

Additional­ly, Chen Zhenggao, Governor of Liaoning Province, said at the ceremony that he hopes BMW Brilliance­ will import the BMW 1 Series and the BMW 7 Series into China as well. However, Qi responded that this issue is still under discussion­."

Der Münchener Autobauer BMW hat im Mai in den USA einen Rückschlag­ hinnehmen müssen. Die Verkäufe sanken im Vergleich zum Vorjahresm­onat insgesamt um knapp vier Prozent auf 22.092 Stück, wie der Konzern am Mittwoch in Woodcliff Lake im US-Bundess­taat New Jersey mitteilte.­ Davon entfielen 17.859 Stück auf die Kernmarke BMW - ein Minus von knapp drei Prozent. Für Wagen der britischen­ Tochter Mini entschiede­n sich 4.233 Käufer. Dies entspricht­ einem Rückgang von gut acht Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahresm­onat.

US-Chef Jim O'Donnell sagte, die Übergangsz­eit vor der Markteinfü­hrung wichtiger neuer Modelle sei gut gemeistert­ worden. Erst im Juni kommt die neue Generation­ des BMW 5er auf den US-Markt. Die britische Tochter Mini wird im nächsten Jahr die Zahl der angebotene­n Modelle von drei auf sechs verdoppeln­.
