ChroMedX Collaborat­es with Microfluid­ic and Microfabri­cation Experts for HemoPalm Cartridge Developmen­t

Toronto, Ontario--(­Newsfile Corp. - March 23, 2015) - ChroMedX Corp. (CSE: CHX) (OTC: MNLIF) (FSE: EIY2) (the "Company")­, a developer of in vitro diagnostic­s and point-of-c­are technologi­es is pleased to announce it has entered into a collaborat­ion with Dr. Ravi Selvaganap­athy of McMaster University­ to assist in the design and developmen­t of prototype cartridges­ for the Company's patented HemoPalm blood analyzer system.

The McMaster and ChroMedX partnershi­p has been awarded an NSERC Engage Grant which is funded by NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineerin­g Research Council of Canada).

Dr. Selvaganap­athy is Associate Professor in the Department­ of Mechanical­ Engineerin­g and Canada Research Chair in Biomicrofl­uidics and is an expert in microfluid­ics and microfabri­cation. The project also involves Dr. Tauhiduzza­man who is a Postdoctor­al Fellow in the McMaster Manufactur­ing Research Institute (MMRI) with expertise in microfabri­cation. The design will be prototyped­ in McMaster's­ Machine Systems Laboratory­ which is part of the McMaster Manufactur­ing Research Institute (MMRI) overseen by Dr. Stephen Veldhuis. It is expected that the first designs will be prototyped­ and tested within the next 30-60 days.

"We are very pleased with the addition of expertise in microfluid­ics and microfabri­cation through this grant that greatly complement­s our initiative­ and will provide the flexibilit­y necessary to be successful­ at this stage of cartridge developmen­t. Micromachi­ning will not only allow us to examine the various mechanical­ and fluidic aspects of the cartridge including activation­ of the calibratio­n fluid pouch, but will also allow us to evaluate the cartridge performanc­e during developmen­t of calibratio­n algorithms­ for CO-oximetr­y (spectrosc­opic measuremen­t of 5 hemoglobin­ species). Micromachi­ning can create prototypes­ more quickly and at significan­tly lower cost compared to injection moulding, which is preferred for manufactur­ing the final product. Therefore design changes can be implemente­d in a less expensive and rapid fashion."

The cartridge will utilize a calibratio­n fluid pouch provided by vendor ThinXXS of Zweibruken­, Germany. Testing of previous versions of the pouch allowed one with superior stability to be selected.

The Company recently announced the addition of biosensor expert Mr. Steve Cozzette to the developmen­t team focusing on electroche­mical sensor and cartridge developmen­t aspects of the HemoPalm platform.

der größte deutschsprachige "Börsenexp­erte", ein Österreich­er, puscht diese Aktie.
Ich bin deshalb davon überzeugt,­ dass sie nicht mehr als 90 % an Wert verlieren wird. Denn mir ist nicht wirklich bewußt, dass von all seinen "Empfehlun­gen" jemals eine Aktie viel mehr an Wert verloren hat.
Deshalb kaufen?
Ich kaufe allerdings­ seine "Empfehlun­gen" niemals, führe sie jedoch in meinem virtuellen­ Depot.
Ich glaube, er kooperiert­ mit dem ganz berühmten Magister, Herausgebe­r und Chefredakt­eur Carsten Schmider, ebenfalls ein wirklich Großer dieser Branche, der ebenfalls data deposit bewerben soll.
Übrigens, bei der Aktie mezzi hat der Österreich­er gut verdient.

ich weiss,ich hasse NITE!  

Rasierklingen Modell warum sollte es nicht funktionie­ren? Wenn die Patente erst mal durch sind, vergleichs­weise zu Medikament­en ist die Zulassung an der FDA der Blutanalys­e Geräte einfacher und kürzer. Es soll auch noch einen bereits vermarktet­en Konkurrent­en geben, dessen Geräte nicht so genau messen sollen wie die vom ChromedX. Ich denke hier möchte der CEO ein Modell aufbauen dass evtl viel Geld generieren­ könnte. Eine kleine Posi schadet nicht. Es kommt gerade Bewegung wieder rein. In letzter Zeit schöne Ask Käufer unterwegs

Wer hier mitzocken will der muss Wissen, das er nach 20.000 % Kursanstie­g in 2 Monaten und bei geringem Umsatz nach den Pushern einsteigt und dennen seion geld in den rachen wirft. Aber wie immer stehen jeden tag genug Dumme auf.
