Equitas Resources Corp. -A1C7VR- Kupferexplorer
Hiermit möchte ich einen Thread zum canadischen Kupfer - & Gold Explorer lancieren.
Es ist richtig, es besteht bereits ein Thread dazu, welcher aus meiner Sicht zu wenig Aufmerksamkeit erhält. Denn EQUITAS RESOURCES CORP. -WKN:A1C7VR- hat , so meine ich , das Zeug zu mehr. Zu viel mehr!
Nicht zuletzt weil seit Anfang April erhebliche Insiderkäufe stattfanden (Nachweis siehe ganz unten), sondern weil hier alle einschlägigen Medien bereits aktiv am Berichten sind UND weil der Kurs zum derzeitigen Zeitpunkt aus meiner Sicht noch äusserst attraktiv ist.
Die "Marke" von CAN$ 0,15 gilt es im Auge zu behalten. Als wichtige Unterstützung sehe ich die CAN$ 0,14!
Ich möchte hier nochmals ausdrücklich darauf hinweisen dass es bein den von mir gemachten Angaben/Aussagen , um eine rein subjektive und ganz persönliche Meinung - ohne Anspruch auf irgend etwas handelt - UND DIESE KEINE EMPFEHLUNG bzw. KEINE AUFFORDERUNG ZUM HANDELN IN DIESEM INVESTMENT- darstellen!
Es ist möglich das ich künftig selbst in diesem Titel investiert sein werde und daher ein persönliches Interesse an der Entwicklung der Aktien von Equitas Resources Corp. nicht von der Hand weise. (per Stand 05.04.2011 bin ich nicht investiert)
Derzeit ist das Interesse von Institutionellen Anlegern nach meiner Auffassung, noch nicht allzu gross. Gestern wurden z.b. realtiv wenige Stücke gehandelt.

Auch sind derzeit noch wenige User in Canadischen Boards mit EQT beschäftigt. Das Sentiment ist aus meiner Sicht noch als neutral einzustufen. Der Handel an deutschen Börsenplätzen ist eher durch geringe Volumina gekennzeichnet. Inwiefern Aktien ggf. bei so einem (derzeit) engen Markt wieder schnell veräussert werden können lässt sich von mir nicht einschätzen.
INFORMATIONEN/GEDANKEN/FACT-Sheet:
Equitas will eine sogenannte „warm-weather-strategy“ versuchen umzusetzten. Nach einer geplanten Privatplazierung soll mit dem damit genierten Kapital im Juni bereits mit ersten Bohrungen begonnen werden. Erste Ergebnisse daraus werden bereits August/September zu erwarten sein.

Zwischen 5.Januar und 01.Februar sind über den Markt, Aktien zum Kurs von CAN$ 0,13 zu Gunsten von Zimtu gehandelt worden. Zwischen 28.03.2011 und 04.04.2011 lag der Kurs wieder zwischen CAN$ 0,145 - CAN$ 0,155. Aktuell bietet sich aus meiner Sicht auf dem derzeitigen Niveau die Möglichkeit die ersten Stücke sukzessive einzusammeln.

Der darauf hinterlegte Link zum Fact-Sheet führt allerdings zu einem Sheet der Marktangaben von Oktober 2010 beinhaltet. Insofern also aus meiner Sicht nicht wirklich auf aktuellem Stand ist.
Interessant hierbei ist allerdings, das der Kurs im Oktober 2010 bereits bei nur CAN$ 0,13 lag und somit im Grunde für Interessierte, rein zeitlich und kurstechnisch, bislang nichts verloren gegangen ist. Ein Rückschlagsrisiko bis CAN$ 0,06 besteht jedoch!!

Charttechnisch findet sich (meiner Ansicht nach) bei CAN$ 0,14 eine Unterstützung die aus meiner Sicht halten sollte/muss, um nicht weiter Richtung CAN$ 0,12 oder sich bei einem ausbleiben von ausreichend guten News und sich bis schlimmsten Falls CAN 0,06 ausweiten könnte.

EQUITAS RESOURCES CORP. TO COMMENCE INITIAL WORK PROGRAM FOR DAY COPPER-GOLD PORPHYRY PROJECT
Equitas Resources Corp. has commenced a two-phase exploration program on the company's 7,100-hectare Day copper-gold porphyry project located in the Toodoggone region of the Quesnel porphyry belt in north-central British Columbia.
The Company has contracted Geo Data Solutions Inc. ("GDS") to complete a heli-bourne magnetic survey at 100 meter spacing for a total of 916 line kilometers. GDS is preparing to mobilize and estimates the heli-bourne survey to begin within the next two weeks. This will be followed up by ground work that may include but not limited to IP / MT work, surface sampling, ground surveying and mapping.
It is anticipated that Phase 2 of the 2011 Exploration Program will include a drill program to test known copper-gold porphyry and VMS targets, confirmed and refined during the Phase 1 exploration work. The Company has engaged Dahrouge Geological of Edmonton, AB to manage the drill program based on the initial heli-bourne survey and ground work, with details of the follow-up work to be provided as Phase 1 exploration work progresses.
On March 3, 2011, the Company announced and released an initial NI 43-101 report for the Day Copper-Gold Porphyry Project (available on SEDAR). The Company conducted extensive review and analysis of available historical exploration and historical drilling data completed on the property in 1974 by Falconbridge (now Xstrata plc) and subsequent work completed by Skeena Resources in the early 1990s. This initial work program is based on the recommendations included in the NI 43-101 report.
About the Day Copper-Gold Project
The Day occurrence is located in north-central British Columbia and is host to significant porphyry copper-gold mineralization. The occurrence was discovered and previously drilled by Falconbridge. Drilling in the early 1970's produced several significant intersections including drill hole D-74-1 with 0.67% copper and 0.84 g/t gold across 58.83 meters and drill hole DDH-74-4 of 0.61% copper and 1.920 g/t gold. Skeena Resources Ltd. reported results including 0.54% copper and 0.704 g/t gold in drill hole DDH-92-1 located 50 meters dues east of DDH-74-4.
The project is located in the Toodoggone region of the Quesnel Porphyry Belt in north central British Columbia, approximately 190 km north of Smithers, BC, and 50 km south of Northgate Mineral's (TSX:NGX) Kemess South Mine. Before its closure in March 2011, the Kemess South Mine was the 5th largest mine in BC producing 40.7 million pounds of copper and 100,789 ounces of gold in 2010. Other notable porphyry projects in the belt include: Northgate Minerals Corp's. Kemess Underground Project, Thompson Creek Metals Corp's. (TSX:TCM) Mount
Milligan Project (acquired from Terrane Metals for ~$650 million in November 2010), and Serengeti Resources Inc's (TSXv:SIR) Kwanika Project.
Day Copper-Gold Project Highlights:
-Copper-gold porphyry situated in the Toodoggone region of north-central British
Columbia.
-Discovered in 1972 by Falconbridge; which drilled eight holes (totaling 1360 meters)
including: DDH 74-1: 0.67% Cu, 0.93 g/t Au over 58.83 meters.
-Target displays porphyry exploration hallmarks:
1. Anomalous copper/gold geochemistry in soil (>200 ppm Cu; >50 ppb Au)
2. Higher magnetic susceptibility (800 nT above background in the area)
3. Strong IP chargeability
-Hosted by an altered dacite porphyry that contains significant bornite and chalcopyrite
associated with quartz flooding.
-Soil geochemistry, and grid-controlled geophysics, have outlined three extension targets
to the Day Zone:
1. Northern copper/gold soil anomaly, with coincident angular mineralized bodies
2. Southern copper soil anomaly, parallel but weaker than the northern anomaly
3. Northern magnetic anomaly, with associated IP chargeability anomaly north of
and subparallel to the Day zone.

(TSXv: EQT) (FSE: T6U1) (das „Unternehmen“) ist erfreut, die Aufnahme eines zweiphasigen Explorationsprogramms beim unternehmenseigenen porphyrischen Kupfer-Gold-Projekt DAY, das 7.100 Hektar abdeckt und in der Region Toodoggone im porphyrischen Quesnel-Gürtel im Norden von British Columbia liegt, bekanntzugeben.

Equitas Resources Corp. has commenced a two-phase exploration program on the company's 7,100-hectare Day copper-gold porphyry project located in the Toodoggone region of the Quesnel porphyry belt in north-central British Columbia.
The Company has contracted Geo Data Solutions Inc. ("GDS") to complete a heli-bourne magnetic survey at 100 meter spacing for a total of 916 line kilometers. GDS is preparing to mobilize and estimates the heli-bourne survey to begin within the next two weeks. This will be followed up by ground work that may include but not limited to IP / MT work, surface sampling, ground surveying and mapping.
It is anticipated that Phase 2 of the 2011 Exploration Program will include a drill program to test known copper-gold porphyry and VMS targets, confirmed and refined during the Phase 1 exploration work. The Company has engaged Dahrouge Geological of Edmonton, AB to manage the drill program based on the initial heli-bourne survey and ground work, with details of the follow-up work to be provided as Phase 1 exploration work progresses.
On March 3, 2011, the Company announced and released an initial NI 43-101 report for the Day Copper-Gold Porphyry Project (available on SEDAR). The Company conducted extensive review and analysis of available historical exploration and historical drilling data completed on the property in 1974 by Falconbridge (now Xstrata plc) and subsequent work completed by Skeena Resources in the early 1990s. This initial work program is based on the recommendations included in the NI 43-101 report.
About the Day Copper-Gold Project
The Day occurrence is located in north-central British Columbia and is host to significant porphyry copper-gold mineralization. The occurrence was discovered and previously drilled by Falconbridge. Drilling in the early 1970's produced several significant intersections including drill hole D-74-1 with 0.67% copper and 0.84 g/t gold across 58.83 meters and drill hole DDH-74-4 of 0.61% copper and 1.920 g/t gold. Skeena Resources Ltd. reported results including 0.54% copper and 0.704 g/t gold in drill hole DDH-92-1 located 50 meters dues east of DDH-74-4.
The project is located in the Toodoggone region of the Quesnel Porphyry Belt in north central British Columbia, approximately 190 km north of Smithers, BC, and 50 km south of Northgate Mineral's (TSX:NGX) Kemess South Mine. A motion from the floor to increase the number of directors to six was unanimously passed. Appointed to the board of directors were: Jay Roberge, Jody Dahrouge, Steve Khan, Steve Williams, Chris Grove and Richard Yu.
Auditor Morgan & Co., chartered accountants, were appointed as auditors of the company for the ensuing year.
2012 stock option plan
The 2012 stock option plan was approved, subject to regulatory approval.

Equitas Resources Corp. (TSXv: EQT) (FSE: T6U1) is pleased to provide an update on the planned and ongoing exploration and development activities for the Company's DAY Copper-Gold Porphyry Project in the Toodoggone Region of north-central British Columbia.

Zimtu Capital Corp. Announces Property Transaction with Strike Graphite Corp.
--------------------------------------------------
February 14, 2012 - Zimtu Capital Corp. (TSXv: ZC; FSE: ZCT1) (the "Company" or "Zimtu") is pleased to announce that the Company and three prospecting partners have signed an agreement with Strike Graphite Corp. (TSXv: SRK) ("Strike") whereby Strike can earn a 100%-interest in the Wagon Graphite Property located in southwestern Quebec.
The Wagon Property consists of three separate claim blocks totaling approximately 3,000 hectares situated within the vicinity (approx. 15 km east) of Timcal's Lac des Iles Graphite Mine, 150 km northwest of Montreal. Lac des Iles is the largest of two Canadian graphite producers. It has been in production for over twenty years and produces graphite products of various sizes and purities.
For its participation in the transaction, Zimtu will receive staged cash and share payments from Strike as follows: (i) $3,750 on signing; (ii) $3,750 and 125,000 common shares on acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange ("TSXv"); (iii) $5,000 and 125,000 common shares 6 months from the date of TSXv acceptance; and (iv) 125,000 common shares 12 months from the date of TSXv acceptance. Zimtu's three prospecting partners will each receive cash and share considerations equal to that of Zimtu. The vendors will collectively retain a 2% Net Smelter Royalty on the properties. During the period which is 12 months from the date of TSXv acceptance, Strike will complete a minimum of $100,000 of exploration on the property.
Graphite Market
Global consumption of natural graphite has increased from ~600,000 in 2000 to 1.2 MM t in 2012. Demand for graphite has been increasing by approximately 5% per year since 2000 due to the ongoing modernization of China, India and other emerging economies, resulting in strong demand from traditional end uses such as the steel and automotive industries. Graphite also has many important new applications such as lithium-ion batteries, fuel cells and nuclear and solar power that have the potential to create significant incremental demand growth. There is roughly 20-30 times more graphite required by weight to produce a lithium-ion battery than there is lithium. Demand for graphite is expected to rise as electric vehicles and lithium battery technology are adopted as well as increasing uses in new technology applications.
Natural graphite comes in several forms: flake, amorphous and lump. Of the 1.2 million tonnes of graphite produced annually, approximately 40% is of the most desirable flake type. China, which produces about 70% of the world's graphite, is seeing production and export growth leveling and export taxes and a licensing system have been instituted. A recent European Commission study regarding the criticality of 41 different materials to the European economy included graphite among the 14 materials high in both economic importance and supply risk (Critical Raw Materials for the EU, July 2010). Graphite prices have been increasing in recent months and over the last couple of years prices for large flake, high purity graphite (+80 mesh, 94-97%C) have more than doubled.
Wagon Property
The Wagon Property was originally explored by Graphicor Resources Inc. ("Graphicor") in 1989 based on the results of a helicopter-borne EM survey. Ground exploration followed in 1990.
The geology of the property is consistent with the Central Metasedimentary Belt of the Grenville Province and includes quartzofeldspathic rocks, quartzite, biotite gneiss, marble and locally pegmatitic quartzofeldspathic rocks. Graphite is locally present in quartzite and biotite gneiss and in shear zones where the graphite content usually ranges from 3% to 7% Cg exhibiting flakes up to 3 mm in diameter. Large flake graphite is generally considered as 0.2 mm and above.
Prospecting and reconnaissance geological mapping followed by line cutting and multifrequency-coil separation Maxmin II and Mise-à-la-Masse surveys identified multiple zones of parallel conductors. According to reports by Derry, Michener, Booth & Wahl ("DMBW"), graphite is present in all lithologies on the property. DMBW wrote: "Diamond drilling is warranted to test the prospective regions of this property."
About one hundred outcrops were located on the property. 15 were sampled and returned assays of 0.57% to 18.13% Cg. The highest grades were more frequently from the paragneiss lithologies. The property covers 18 km strike length of the formations.

Strike plans to mount an aggressive exploration campaign on the property commencing with a complete compilation of historic geologic work followed by surface mapping, prospecting, mineral testing and processing, and follow-up diamond drilling.

The company is focused on its flagship property, the Day Copper-Gold Porphyry project in north-central British Columbia. The project, located about 380 kilometres northwest of Price George, covers approximately 7,119 hectares, and consists of 5 historical showings. Originally discovered and drilled by Falconbridge in the early 70's, historic drilling intercepted as high as 0.67% copper, and 0.93 grams per tonne gold, over 58.83 metres, as well as 0.54% copper, and 0.75 grams per tonne gold over 57 metres.
Fundamental estimates that "Based on historic drilling assays, the Day and Porcupine area of the project could potentially contain 137 million pounds copper equivalent, grading 0.60%. The project has good potential to establish a NI 43-101 compliant resource and expand the resource upon further exploration work on the project."
In September 2011, the company closed a $2.26 million financing by issuing 15.06 million units at a price of $0.15. Chinese producer, Zijin Mining Group invested $1.35 million, through their wholly-owned subsidiary, Yield Gold Group. Fundamental notes that Zijin trades on the Hong Kong Exchange and has a market cap of approximately $15 billion USD, claiming to be the largest gold producer in China, and the third largest copper producer.
Fundamental believes "The Zijin investment is a significant development as it indicates Zijin's confidence in Equitas' assets and its management team."
Equitas' management has initiated plans for a comprehensive exploration drilling program to start in the 3rd quarter of 2012.
Given that the Day property has no NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate, and that Fundamental's in house estimate is highly preliminary and speculative, Fundamental has not assigned a valuation or rating at this time.
The company currently trades at $0.095, and with 51 million shares outstanding, it is capitalized at $5 million.
