Salazar Resources Limited: Initial Channel Samples From Curipamba Return 17m at 11.2 g/t Gold and 505 g/t Silver
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 20, 2007) - Mr. Fredy Salazar, President, Salazar Resources Limited (TSX VENTURE:SRL)(FRANKFURT:SRL) is pleased to announce results from initial channel sampling at the Curipamba project, El Gallo prospect, Las Naves Central (Figure 1). A total of 42 rock chip channel samples (Figure 3) varying in length from 1m to 3m were continuously collected from several outcrops along a mineralized breccia zone (Figure 2). The analytical results are set out in Table 1. The three significant channel samples returned the following results: 17m averaging 11.2 g/t gold and 505 g/t silver; 12m averaging 7.09 g/t gold and 299 g/t silver; 10m averaging 12.13 g/t gold and 235 g/t silver; 6m averaging 4 g/t gold and 38 g/t silver (Figures 3 and 4). The area with anomalous gold and silver concentrations is located in a Breccia Zone (unknown dimensions) in a host rock of dacite tuff mineralized with poly polymetallic sulphides and barite blocks. This preliminary sampling is to be followed-up by a systematic soil sampling survey with samples collected every 25m on lines with a 50m line spacing, manual pitting, and geophysics. The work will assist in delineating the surface and potential extent of the mineralized zone. Earlier sampling by Newmont Peru SA, Skeena resources, and Pan American Silver have all examined the Gallo Anomaly and taken rock chip composite and channel samples with similar results.
Samples preparation was performed by ALS Chemex Quito, Ecuador using standard industry practices (Sample prep -32). Analytical work was carried out at the ALS Chemex Laboratory in Vancouver, Canada using fire assay methods for gold (Au-25 procedure) with an AAS finish and for another 34 elements an ICP-AES instrument (ME-ICP41 procedures).
Howard Lahti, Ph.D., P. Geo, the Qualified Person (QP) in compliance with National Instrument 43-101, has visited the El Gallo prospect within the Curipamba Project and has inspected and evaluated the ongoing exploration work. He has reviewed this news release for accuracy.

die vorgestern gemeldeten Hammer-Ergebnisse von Aurelian liefern viel Fantasie für andere Ecuador-Gold-Explorer wie Lateegra oder Salazar.Hier ist lediglich Geduld gefragt, denn Salazar ist noch in der Frühphase der Exploration. Aber wir wissen, dass alle großen Adressen wie gebannt auf die ersten Bohrungen bei Salazar warten. Keiner will die zweite Aurelian verpassen!Fredy Salazar ist derjenige gewesen, der das Fruta-del-Norte Projekt von Aurelian entdeckt und vermittelt hat. Wir glauben, dass Fredy Salazar als bester Kenner Ecuadors eine ähnlich spektakuläre Liegenschaft in seine eigene Gesellschaft eingebracht hat.Na das läßt doch hoffen.

SALAZAR REPORTS OUTCROPPING GOLD MINERALIZATION AT RUMIÑAHUI, ECUADOR

Mr. Fredy Salazar, President is pleased to announce the results from the Company’s initial reconnaissance program at the Rumiñahui property in Ecuador. The Rumiñahui Project, a 100% Salazar Resources property of 32,676 hectares, is located about 300 km north of Curipamba and a 100 km northwest of Quito, the capital of Ecuador.
Work has been focused along the Moncayo mining concession where the Company has initiated a rock chip sampling program around several locations where artisanal mining was performed in the past. A total of 12 channel samples were taken from outcrops over widths of 0.2 to 1.5 meters. Gold values ranged from 0.06 to 44.20 g/t. Click here to see table 1. The samples also demonstrated anomalous nickel concentrations.
The geology of the Rumiñahui project consists of andesite intruded by quartz-diorite porphyries. Gold mineralization was located within sheeted veins of quartz, pyrite and chalcopyrite that trend sub-parallel to regional shear orientations. Ongoing work by the Company at the Rumiñahui project will include: stream sediment and rock geochemical sampling, geological mapping and geophysics.

Salazar announces finding of new anomaly 5.5 km South West from El Gallo, Ecuador: 68m at 2.6 g/t Gold and 82 g/t Silver
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA June 20, 2007 - Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: SRL.V) (FRANKFURT: CCG.F) announces further results from the ongoing exploration program at the El Lobo anomaly.
Significant results include:
· 68 meters at an average of 2.6 g/t gold and 82 g/t silver; including 5 meters at an average of 8.5 g/t gold and 304 g/t silver
A total of 92 rock chip samples were sampled with lengths varying between 1 and 5 meters (31 trench samples, 53 outcrop samples and 8 manual pit samples of 1 to 4 meters depth). Values ranged form 0.01 to 16.65 g/t gold and 0.01 to 604 g/t silver (Table 1).
Thirty-four soil samples were also collected; 32 along road slopes (mainly Type A soil) and 2 auger samples with depths between 1 and 4 meters. The soil sampling identified a restricted gold and silver anomaly with coincident copper and lead near 892775mE and between 0849425mN and 0849400mN. There are other areas with base metal enrichment but do not have associated anomalous gold and silver (Table 2 and Figure 9).
The Sesmo Sur Anomaly, which contains the El Lobo Anomaly, lies within the Jordan 2 mining concession and is located 5.5 km south west of El Gallo (Figure 1). The alteration zone is more than 100 meters wide and consists of silicified and pyritized hydrothermal volcanic breccia. Gold and silver mineralization is hosted within a hydrothermal breccia with a matrix of barite and poly-sulphides (silver minerals are contained within galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite) (Figure 2).
Mr. Salazar, President, states, "While we remain in the early stages of our exploration program, the results to date demonstrate many positive indications that this could be an exploration area with potential to discover significant gold and silver mineralization.”
Rocks and soil geochemistry and geology are currently being analyzed in further detail. Future work will concentrate on testing the 5.5 km long area between El Gallo Anomaly and Sesmo Sur to search for new indications of gold and silver mineralization. The next phase at the Sesmo Sur Anomaly will be geochemistry, geology and geophysics (magnetometry and induced polarization) to define new anomalies within the Sesmo Sur zone.

Salazar announces finding of new anomaly 5.5 km South West from El Gallo, Ecuador: 68m at 2.6 g/t Gold and 82 g/t Silver
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA June 20, 2007 - Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: SRL.V) (FRANKFURT: CCG.F) announces further results from the ongoing exploration program at the El Lobo anomaly.
Significant results include:
· 68 meters at an average of 2.6 g/t gold and 82 g/t silver; including 5 meters at an average of 8.5 g/t gold and 304 g/t silver
A total of 92 rock chip samples were sampled with lengths varying between 1 and 5 meters (31 trench samples, 53 outcrop samples and 8 manual pit samples of 1 to 4 meters depth). Values ranged form 0.01 to 16.65 g/t gold and 0.01 to 604 g/t silver (Table 1).
Thirty-four soil samples were also collected; 32 along road slopes (mainly Type A soil) and 2 auger samples with depths between 1 and 4 meters. The soil sampling identified a restricted gold and silver anomaly with coincident copper and lead near 892775mE and between 0849425mN and 0849400mN. There are other areas with base metal enrichment but do not have associated anomalous gold and silver (Table 2 and Figure 9).
The Sesmo Sur Anomaly, which contains the El Lobo Anomaly, lies within the Jordan 2 mining concession and is located 5.5 km south west of El Gallo (Figure 1). The alteration zone is more than 100 meters wide and consists of silicified and pyritized hydrothermal volcanic breccia. Gold and silver mineralization is hosted within a hydrothermal breccia with a matrix of barite and poly-sulphides (silver minerals are contained within galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite) (Figure 2).
Mr. Salazar, President, states, "While we remain in the early stages of our exploration program, the results to date demonstrate many positive indications that this could be an exploration area with potential to discover significant gold and silver mineralization.”
Rocks and soil geochemistry and geology are currently being analyzed in further detail. Future work will concentrate on testing the 5.5 km long area between El Gallo Anomaly and Sesmo Sur to search for new indications of gold and silver mineralization. The next phase at the Sesmo Sur Anomaly will be geochemistry, geology and geophysics (magnetometry and induced polarization) to define new anomalies within the Sesmo Sur zone.

Samples preparation was performed by ALS Chemex Quito, Ecuador, using standard industry practices (Sample prep -32). Vancouver, BC – September 4, 2007 – Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SRL(FRANKFURT:CCG) is pleased to announce the commencement of its 2007 diamond drill program at it's 100 % owned Curipamba Project, located approximately 100 km NE from Guayaquil in Central West Ecuador. Kluane International Drilling ("Kluane") has been contracted to complete the drill program at Curipamba. Kluane have mobilized a drill rig to the property and drilling has commenced. The drill program will follow up on successful rock chip and channel sampling, the results of which have confirmed the presence of high grade Gold and Silver mineralization. The total program consists of approximately 48 holes, totaling 9000 meters and will begin with an initial 4,000 meters.The program will commence at Sesmo Sur area where previous channel sampling from the El Lobo Anomaly (0.8 km by 0.4 km) returned 68 meters at an average of 2.6 g/t Gold and 82 g/t Silver; including 5 meters at an average of 8.5 g/t Gold and 304 g/t Silver.
