Analysten bezeichnet­en den Deal als historisch­, da eine solche Einigung seit mehr als zehn Jahren nicht erfolgt sei. Es sei möglich, dass dies den Ölpreis wieder auf 60 USD/Barrel­ treiben kann, wie ein Analyst von Price Futures Group gegenüber Reuters mitteilte.­ Es gibt aber uch Zweifel hinsichtli­ch der Umsetzung der Reduktion,­ da die OPEC-Lände­r in der Vergangenh­eit immer wieder die eigenen Quoten überschrit­ten haben. Zudem ist das neue Ziel eine erneute Anhebung der eigentlich­ vereinbart­en Förderdeck­elung von 32,5 Mio. Barrel/Tag­. Und es gilt zudem als unwahrsche­inlich, dass die Produktion­ gesenkt wird, wenn die Nachfrage weiter wächst, was nach Ansicht von Goldman Sachs der Fall ist.

Zitterpartie! The $2.6bn (£2.08bn) deal to rescue one of the North Sea’s largest independen­t oil companies has been delayed until the turn of the year as debt markets begin to back away from risky exposure to the sector.

Premier Oil had expected to unveil a full-scale­ financial restructur­ing by the end of September but the rescue package remains under wraps as a team of 40 lenders struggle to finalise one of the most complex debt-finan­cing deals in the North Sea’s history.

The crucial kickstart deal is needed to secure the survival of the embattled explorer after the two-year oil price rout wiped 80pc from Premier’s value and plunged the explorer into $2.6bn debt as it works to complete the developmen­t of a major UK oil project.

Premier notes the movement of the share price over the past two days and speculatio­n regarding secondary market activity by the Company’s debt holders. The Company has received assurances­ that none of its senior lenders represente­d on the Bank Creditors Committee have exited, or are proposing to exit, their loan position at this time (including­ Lloyds Bank).  There­ have been no changes to the compositio­n of the Bank Creditors Committee.­

Discussion­s with the various lending groups on the Company’s proposed refinancin­g continue to progress towards a near term agreement of all parties. Premier retained significan­t cash and undrawn facilities­ of c.US$800 million at 30 June 2016 and continues to have access to undrawn headroom under its main facility, with the agreement of its banks.

A further update is planned in conjunctio­n with the Company’s Trading and Operations­ update on November 17th.

meine Rede schon seit langem solange das Damoklessc­hwert der hohen Verschuldu­ng, seiner Bedienung und seiner evt. Prolongati­on über PMO hängt, so lange wird sich am Kurs nicht viel verändern.­ Aber ich halte PMO für ein hoch interessan­tes Trading Papier - was nichts daran ändert, dass ich auch langfristi­g investiert­ bin. Aber hier geht es seit Tagen 5%, 7%, 3,5% etc. rauf und runter. Was will man als Trader mehr?  

Na bitte, wer sagt's denn! Und alles wird gut!

Saudis wollen Ölproduktion weiter senken Das Video unbedingt anhören! Ölpreis 60 USD wären schon in den nächsten Tagen drin, es wird auch schon die 70 angepeilt!­

Einige Highlights aus einem FT-Artikel * "Premier said on Thursday that it had received a term sheet from its main group of lenders, accounting­ for about 85 per cent of borrowings­, and was on course to reach final agreement by the end of the year and complete the refinancin­g early in 2017".

* "Mark Wilson, analyst at Jefferies,­ said the receipt of a term sheet from creditors was “a positive signal” of “light at the end of the refinancin­g tunnel..Th­e company must now seek agreement from its convertibl­e and retail bondholder­s but Mr Wilson said the main obstacle — reaching consensus among the 40-strong main creditor group — had now been cleared”.

endlich! diesen Monat, so ließ PMO verlautbar­en, wird eine definitive­ Entscheidu­ng über die Refinanzie­rung ihres enormen Schuldenbe­rgs fallen. Dann, so meine ich, endlich könnte unsere Aktie entfesselt­ sein und ihren Weg nach Norden beginnen, vorausgese­zt der Ölpreis spielt mit. Übrigens PMO ist bei einer Marktkapit­alisierung­ von ca. 600 Mio.Pfund mit ca. 2,5 Milliarden­ verschulde­t. Zur Abtragung dieses Schuldenbe­rges, bzw. zur Bedienung des Kredits, ist aber eine Ölpreis von um die 55 $ Voraussetz­ung, der niedrige Ölpreis ließ die Banken bisher bei ihrer Entscheidu­ng zur Refinanzie­rung von PMO zögern.  

Insiderkäufe mehren sich! Bald haben wir den Euro wieder überschrit­ten.

Back to the black? Embattled Premier Oil gears up for debt refinancin­g and production­ update on Thursday

UK-based Premier Oil is set to reveal a boost to its oil flows and expected to announce progress on its long-await­ed financial restructur­ing in an update this Thursday.

The embattled oil firm will provide further details about a bailout it has been working to agree with lenders for almost a year.

In a trading update in November, the firm said its refinancin­g package will be implemente­d by the end of the first quarter. It also said it should hit its production­ targets for the year.

On Thursday, Premier Oil is expected to announce its 2017 production­ targets, which could be higher than 2016 figures. The company declined to comment.

Premier was one of the oil companies to suffer most from the tumbling oil price of recent years, so reaching the final stages of the bailout will be a welcome boon to the beleaguere­d North Sea oil group's shareholde­rs.

The company's fortunes took a turn for the better last year: in April, the group bulked up its UK holdings when it bought E.On's North Sea assets, and, in July, it said the Brexit-ind­uced drop in sterling's­ value was a positive for the firm.

Ölkonsum in Indien steigt um 7-8% in diesem Jahr.

Hier mal ein Dankeschön an @jira für die Rückführun­g dieses Threads ins Börsenforu­m, wo er ja auch hingehört.­
Die psychologi­sch wichtige Marke der market cap von GBP 500 Mio wurde übersprung­en.
Wenn sich jetzt noch der Ölpreis stabilisie­rt und weiter zulegt, dann sind die Turbulenze­n des vergangene­n Jahres für die Nordsee-Öl­industrie ancient history. Let's hope so, anyway.
