China Stocks That Are Worth Your Attention China’s slowdown stabilized last month in the wake of monetary stimulus and a loosening of fiscal restrictions on indebted local governments.

Growth in industrial output and credit accelerated, helping offset a further drop in the pace for fixed-asset investments which includes property construction, coal plants and infrastructure projects. Bloomberg’s monthly gross domestic product tracker advanced the most since January, narrowing the gap with Premier Li Keqiang’s expansion target of about 7 percent for the year.

Along with strong jobs gains in the U.S. and improving readings from Japan, stabilization in China bolsters a global outlook that’s clouded by uncertainty in Europe. The steadier economic report card gives Li more time to assess the impact of monetary easing and a debt-swap deal to help local governments.

“The economy was bottoming in May,” said Wang Tao, chief China economist at UBS Group AG in Hong Kong. “We won’t see a strong rebound, but we will see a slight improvement in the third quarter, as all kinds of stabilizing measures intensify.”

Industrial output rose 6.1 last month from a year earlier, the statistics bureau said Thursday, accelerating from 5.9 percent in April and beating the median estimate of 6.0 percent in a Bloomberg survey. Retail sales added 10.1 percent in May, while fixed-asset investment excluding rural households climbed 11.4 percent in the first five months.

Aggregate financing, which includes bank loans and off-balance credit, was 1.22 trillion yuan ($197 billion), the People’s Bank of China said. That compares with the median estimate of 1.13 trillion yuan in a Bloomberg survey. New yuan loans were 900.8 billion yuan.

The Shanghai Composite Index rose.

Bloomberg’s monthly GDP tracker, a weighted average of monthly economic indicators, climbed to 6.55 percent year-on-year in May from 6.4 percent in April.
Bloomberg economist Tom Orlik wrote. “We put a high probability on a further rate cut in the third quarter. More targeted measures to support local government infrastructure and social housing projects seem assured.”

...Vipshop Holdings Ltd – ADR (NYSE:VIPS) settled at $24.32 during New York trading, up+0.70 points or +2.96% from previous close and at a distance of -3.59% from 20-day simple moving average. In the last trading session, the stock’s price moved +3.52% above its 200 day moving average, changing hands as low as $23.44 per share. The stock is currently trading -11.33% below its SMA 50. This stock is more risky when compared to the shifts in the equity markets as its beta value is standing at 0.71. To measure price-variation, we found this stock’s volatility over a week period was 3.54% and for the month was 5.42%....

VIPS Among 4 Chinese Stocks With Top Fundamentals Today's Screen Of The Day is Top Fundamentals, which features highly rated firms with three-year sales and earnings growth rates of at least 25%, sorted by the biggest estimated EPS-percentage change from a year ago. Today's screen includes four Chinese companies: Alibaba, Vipshop Holdings (NYSE:VIPS), YY (NASDAQ:YY) and Autohome (NYSE:ATHM).

Vipshop Holdings

Each Chinese company on the list has U.S. counterparts. Vipshop, an online discount retailer, offers branded apparel and other goods similar to the model pioneered by eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) in the U.S.

It's been under attack recently by short-seller Mithra Forensic Research, which in mid-May claimed Vipshop had overstated some of its strong growth figures. Vipshop countered the report and invited investors to do research. Still, on May 27, Stifel analysts initiated coverage on Vipshop with a buy rating and 32 price target.

E-Commerce in den Emerging Markets with significant revenue growth
http://seekingalpha.com/article/...g-is-happening-in-emerging-markets
.....
The arrival of ecommerce in the developing world is manifesting itself in significant revenue growth. The revenue of the companies in the EMQQ Index grew from $13 billion in 2009 to $73.8 billion in 2014-a total 5 year growth of 468% and an average annual growth rate of 41.5%. And while the rate of revenue growth is likely to slow over time, it was still an impressive 39.9% in 2014.

Result 2 - Significant Value Creation

The growth in revenue has led to similar growth in the value of publicly traded Emerging Markets ecommerce companies. In additiona to Alibaba, there are now more than 25 publicly traded Emerging Markets Internet & Ecommerce companies with market caps over $1 Billion, including Baidu (NASDAQ:BIDU), JD.com (NASDAQ:JD), VIPshop (NYSE:VIPS), MercadoLibre (NASDAQ:MELI), Yandex (NASDAQ:YNDX), YY.com (NASDAQ:YY), and 58.com (NYSE:WUBA).

....
Investors seeking to participate in the growth of emerging markets should consider adopting a more refined and targeted approach that includes exposure to the "future" of emerging markets - consumption - which will increasingly happen online.

We rate VIPSHOP HOLDINGS LTD -ADR (VIPS) a BUY. This is driven by several positive factors, which we believe should have a greater impact than any weaknesses, and should give investors a better performance opportunity than most stocks we cover. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its robust revenue growth, notable return on equity, impressive record of earnings per share growth and compelling growth in net income. We feel its strengths outweigh the fact that the company has had generally high debt management risk by most measures that we evaluated.
