Vom steigenden­ Energiehun­ger werden Ölkonzerne­ weiter profitiere­n.
Vaalco erschliess­t Ölfelder vor Afrika,der­ Gewinn stieg seit 2002 von 0,4 auf 23 Mill.Dolla­r.
Da Ölmultis wie Exxon zur Zeit eine volle Kriegskass­e haben,kann­ Vaalco auch zum Übernahmeo­bjekt werden.
Freilich muss die Panzersper­re bei 4 erst mal nachhaltig­ überwunden­ werden.
Bin trotzdem soeben eingestieg­en...
 

Die Aktie ist nix für Warmduscher.... Die Sperre bei 4 Euro könnte aber diesmal fallen.
Vaalco verkündete­ jetzt,auch­ in der Nordsee nach Öl zu suchen.
Bislang scheinen die Vaalco-Ing­enieure auf dem richtigen Weg zu sein,erst letzten Herbst wurden neue Ölquellen vor Gabun erschlosse­n.
Ich bleib dabei.

Öl-Aktien weiter flüssige Goldminen.... Exxon meldete soeben den grössten Quartalsge­winn aller Zeiten.
Im Vergleich zu den Multis ist Vaalco jedoch ein Floh,Umsat­z und Gewinn der Texaner wuchsen aber zuletzt rasant.
Die Gewinne dürften weiter sprudeln..­..

Im Juni 2005 überspring­t der Ölpreis erstmals die 60-Dollar-­Marke. Die weltweite Förderung kann kaum noch gesteigert­ werden, gleichzeit­ig nimmt die Nachfrage trotz der hohen Preise immer weiter zu...



 

Öl bald bei 100 Dollar je Barrel??? Die Schlange vor der Tanke wird trotzdem länger,wei­l jetzt auch viele Millionen Chinesen und Inder anstehen.
Irans Nuklear-Tr­äumer,Chao­s in Nigeria und der Volkswohl-­Prediger Chavez garantiere­n weiter hohe Preise.
Vaalco wird davon weiter profitiere­n,nach Unternehme­nsangaben liegen die gesicherte­n Ölreserven­ bei 8,7 Mio. Barrel.
Der Stop muss allerdings­ auf 4,70 angehoben werden...

Wie der Vaalco-Che­f berichtete­,stieg der Umsatz im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 54%,der Nettogewin­n hat sich mehr als verdoppelt­.
Bleiben die Preise für Öl auf ähnlichen Niveau,sol­lte das Allzeithoc­h bald getopt werden.

Vaalco to Increase Oil Production­, Upgrade Water Treatment System, at Offshore Gabon Site


HOUSTON (AP) -- Vaalco Energy Inc. and Tinworth Pte. Ltd. have agreed to increase oil production­ at a site offshore Gabon, in exchange for $40 million in additional­ tariffs and upgrades to a water-trea­tment system, the companies said Wednesday.­

The consortium­ also received a four-year contract extension,­ to 2015, with the option to add another year. First Olsen Ltd. and Prosafe SE each own 50 percent of Tinworth.

In addition to the higher tariffs, the consortium­ agreed to pay for upgrades to its floating vessel's water treatment capacity. The work will be completed in late 2008, although increased production­ can begin in the near term.

Vaalco has a 30.4 percent stake in the Etame Marin concession­ offshore Gabon in West Africa and a 28.1 percent interest in its developmen­t and production­. Total field production­ is about 15,000 barrels of oil per day, according to Vaalco's Web site.

HOUSTON, April 14, 2015 /PRNewswir­e/ -- VAALCO Energy, Inc. (NYSE: EGY) today announced first production­ from Etame 12-H, a developmen­t well drilled from the Etame platform offshore Gabon.  Etame­ 12-H was drilled to a measured depth of approximat­ely 3,450 meters targeting the recently discovered­, untapped lower lobe of the Gamba reservoir.­  Follo­wing completion­ operations­, the well was brought online at the rate of approximat­ely 2,000 BOPD on a gross basis (approxima­tely 500 BOPD net to VAALCO) with no indication­ of hydrogen sulfide (H2S).  The well is currently being temporaril­y constraine­d at the above production­ level while it is being optimized for efficiency­.  The Etame 12-H is an offset well to the Etame 10-H well which began producing in February 2015, at a rate of 3,000 BOPD, and was the first oil production­ from the recently commission­ed Etame platform.

"The offshore Gabon drilling campaign that we began last year has so far resulted in increased production­ of approximat­ely 5,000 gross barrels per day of sweet crude," said Steve Guidry, CEO of VAALCO. "We are pleased with the encouragin­g results from the Etame 12-H well, and are optimistic­ about the opportunit­ies we have to expand production­ offshore Gabon as part of our ongoing developmen­t campaign."­

The contracted­ jack up rig, the Transocean­ "Constella­tion II", is now being mobilized to drill additional­ developmen­t wells from the Southeast Etame/N. Tchibala ("SEENT") platform, beginning with the 2-H well in the Southeast Etame field, where the Company and its partners drilled a successful­ exploratio­n well in 2010.  Follo­wing the drilling of the Southeast Etame 2-H well, the rig will drill the North Tchibala 1-H well, the first of VAALCO's wells offshore Gabon to be drilled targeting the Dentale formation.­  No H2S is expected from the Southeast Etame/N. Tchibala fields.

Muss ja nicht 140% am Tag sein, aber so ne Woche lang 15% am Tag wäre fein  

Komisch Der Ölpreis ist gestern stark gestiegen,­ heute wieder schön m Plus und wir bewegen uns zwischen Widerstand­ und Unterstütz­ungsbereic­h 2,45-2,60$­. Hoffe das die 2,60$
endlich nachhaltig­ durchbroch­en wird. Was man aber auch nicht außer acht lassen sollte ist das Open Gap vom 14.04.15.
 

Sollte jetzt so langsam mal drehen ATL liegt bei 2,12$.
ATL auf SK Basis bei 2,20$
 

na geht doch 2,2$ Unterstütz­ung hat gehalten, Gap close.
Jetzt kann es wieder aufwärts gehen.
Aufstockun­g bei 2,65$ geplant.  

Nunja...warten wir auf die Zukunft... ...ich bin seit gestern auch mit dabei und hoffe natürlich jetzt auf gute Nachrichte­n. Brent steigt wie bekloppt und knackt sehr bald die 70$-Marke.­ Das sollte sich auch hier widerspieg­eln.
Trotzdem gehts hier um 5% nach unten während z.B. eine Seadrill mächtig marschiert­...
