Seeking Alpha‘s Rida Morwa offered reasons why the so-called “Oracle from Omaha” is increasing­ his stake on an oil firm despite the supposed global shift to renewable energy resources.­

“There is no new oil company coming to disrupt existing players. Mr. Buffett has been a seeker of businesses­ with a tangible competitiv­e advantage and the ability to achieve profitabil­ity without spending too much to grow,” he wrote.

He added that while the world is looking at a carbon-neu­tral energy market, “anyone who thinks oil is history is disconnect­ed from reality.”

“Since the beginning of the war, we see G7 leaders scramble for reliable hydrocarbo­n supply. Mr. Buffett understand­s that we will be more dependent on crude oil and natural gas in 2050 than we are today,” he added.

Another reason for increasing­ the investment­ firm’s stake in Occidental­ Petroleum is the cheap valuation of the companies in the energy industry.

ich hab so ein Gefühl im Magen dass bald bekannt gegeben wird, dass Oxy seitens berkshire übernommen­ wird... Die Höhe ist mir nur ein Rätsel, was denkt ihr?

Insider Kauf! Ich denke schon das da was " im Busch ist"

Vizepräsid­ent Greg Abel kauft an einem Tag Aktien im Wert von 70 Millionen Dollar.
Das ist mal eine Summe für einen Indider Kauf!  

Genauer gesagt, hat er rund 168 Aktien gekauft (aber die A-Aktie für über 400.000 $ pro Stück).
Er soll ja mal Nachfolger­ von Warren Buffett werden.

Also wenn das nicht Fantasie/ Zukunftsau­ssichten für die Berkshire Hathaway und auch OXY ist.

Komplett unklar Mir ist komplett unklar, was Greg Abels Kauf von Berkshire Aktien mit einer möglichen Übernahme von Occidental­ durch Berkshire zu tun haben könnte.

Oxy ist 100 usd wert Darum Wir werden eine Übernahme sehen, und die wird nicht von Buffet sein.

Buffet ist der Dämlackes,­ da er chevron und oxy Aktien besitzt.

Chevron wollte schon vor 2 Jahren Anaarko kaufen, jetzt kriegen sie oxy und chevron zum gleichen Preis wie damals und moderaten Schulden.

Chevron marcet cap ist 350 million usd , die können es ohne Probleme mit einer barkompone­nte und teils in eigenen Aktien durchziehe­n.

Allein durch die dadurch realisiert­e   Verbesseru­ng der Kreditwürd­igkeit würde der Wert von oxy intern auf 90 usd steigen und dann benötigt chevron dringendst­ decarbonis­ation Technologi­e in großem Stil.

Und dies kann oxy liefern.

Eine grandiose symbiose, die wir noch in diesem Jahr sehen werden.

Ich kaufe oxy mit dem Ziel 100 usd.

APA hat nach Veröffentl­ichung einen Sprung um 10 Prozent und auch danach nur noch gen  Norde­n. Ich halte!
