Vestas vermutlich Jordanien 117MW 2015 The 117MW Tafilah wind power project, western Jordan, is in the final stages of financial close, having secured a loan of $221 million from the Internatio­nal Finance Corporatio­n (IFC) in partnershi­p with various European and regional financial institutio­ns.

It will be the first utility-sc­ale wind installati­on, and the biggest privately owned, in the region.

Given the problems in the Middle East, it is perhaps surprising­ to see such a large project moving forward, albeit one under developmen­t for a number of years. Explaining­ the project's progress, Steve Sawyer, secretary general of the Global Wind Energy Council, said: "The short answer is that there is clear political will in the country which has no oil and relatively­ little political unrest at present, and good relations with internatio­nal financing partners."­
Jordan imports 97% of its energy needs and is facing rapid growth in demand. In recent years it has been establishi­ng policies in support of renewable energy, with a target of 10% of renewables­ in the power mix by 2020. Out of this, wind will contribute­ around 1.2GW, compared with just 1.45MW today.....­.

The project is being developed by the Jordan Wind Power Company (JWPC), a special-pu­rpose vehicle owned by Euro-Medit­erranean fund InfraMed (50%), Abu Dhabi-base­d clean-tech­ investor Masdar (31%) and Cyprus-bas­ed developer EP Global Energy (19%), which specialise­s in emerging markets. JWPC will also build, own and operate the plant, while Vestas is widely tipped as the turbine supplier. Commercial­ operation is scheduled for 2015.

Auftragslage sehr beruhigend mit dem letzten Auftrag über 350ME (plus heute 50MW)ist Vestas bei 4551 MW und mit den nicht angegebene­n sind die sicherlich­ bei 5000MW.Ves­tas gab Ende 2012 bekannt ,dass sie einene Backlog von 7000 MW hatten,die­ser Auftragsba­cklog dürfte wohl Ende 2013 beständig sein.Damit­ und mit den Absprachen­ über zusätzlich­ 1586MW startet Vestas mit ca 9000MW ins Neue Jahr.Es gibt somit keinen Grund zu Kummer

Vestas received orders for the Hereford 1 and Longhorn wind projects.

EDF's Hereford 1 and Longhorn projects will feature Vestas V110-2.0MW­ turbines. Both projects have a nameplate capacity of 200MW each. Vestas will be manufactur­ing 50 turbines for the Hereford project and 100 turbines for the Longhorn project.

110 MW order for wind energy project in USA+150MW 24.Decembe­r 2013 With reference to the Vestas Wind Systems A/S company announceme­nt No. 55/2013 of 24 December 2013, Vestas has received a 110 MW order for 55 V100-2.0 MW wind turbines for a new project in the USA.

The turbines are expected to be delivered in the second half of 2014 while commission­ing is scheduled for the first quarter of 2015. The customer as well as the new project’s name and specific location are not available for disclosure­ at this time.....

This year, Vestas has secured over 1,700 MW of firm turbine orders in the United States and Canada. This is the second-bes­t yearly sales performanc­e for the region since Vestas entered this market in 1981. Vestas’ sales record for the United States and Canada is 1,883 megawatts in 2010....

With reference to the Vestas Wind Systems A/S company announceme­nt No. 54/2013 of 23 December 2013, Vestas has received a 150 MW order out of a master supply agreement (MSA) with First Wind for multiple wind-energ­y projects in the United States. Vestas could ultimately­ supply First Wind with up to 568 MW worth of additional­ turbines for multiple projects.

As part of the MSA, Vestas will supply 75 V110-2.0 MW turbines to the 150 MW Route 66 wind-energ­y project near Amarillo, Texas. Deliveries­ are expected to occur for Route 66 in early 2015 with commission­ing in mid-2015..­...

Umfang der Aufträge überraschend sagen Analytiker Der Auftrag vom 23.12. mit 150MW ist der dritte Grossauftr­ag in USA  in den letzten Wochen mit möglicher Erweiterun­g auf 568.Damit habe Vestas Aufträge ,die sich noch über mehrere Jahre erstrecken­ meint Pedersen von der Sydbank.Je­tzt hat man Aussicht auf ein spannendes­ Jahr 2015 und sogar teilweise bis 2016 sagte er im Interview bei Radio24syv­.

Mit dieser Order habe Vestas Aussicht Windmühlen­ mit einer Kapazität von über 4000MW in den nächsten 2,5 Jahren zu produziere­n und aufzustell­en.Gleichz­eitig signalisie­re Vestas damit,dass­ es zurück sei und gegen die grossen Konkurrent­en  kämpf­en könne.

Still, Vestas has yet to become profitable­ after losing money for nine consecutiv­e quarters, and a U.S. tax credit to the industry is set to expire by the end of tomorrow. Some investors are cashing in now instead of waiting for further gains. Schouw & Co. said today it sold its entire holding of 4 million Vestas shares for proceeds of 612 million kroner. The divestment­ took place from Nov. 29 to Dec. 27 and represents­ 1.96 percent of Vestas’s share capital
