Platina is an Australian-based resources company. The company controls a portfolio of precious, speciality and base metal projects at various stage of development. Shareholder value is created by advancing these projects through exploration, feasibility, permitting and towards development and realising value through either sale, joint venture or development.
Our near-term priority is exploration at the Challa Gold Project located in-between the prolific Mt Magnet and Sandstone gold districts in Western Australia, 500km north-east of Perth. in Western Australia. The Sandstone province has produced over 1.3 million ounces of gold from numerous underground and open pit mining operations while Mt Magnet produced over 6 million ounces since discovery in 1891. The company’s objective is to build its gold footprint in Western Australia.
The company also has interests in the following projects:
Owendale (100% interest) – Located in central New South Wales, the project is one of the largest and highest-grade scandium deposits in the world, which has the potential to become Australia’s first scandium producer with cobalt, platinum and nickel credits.
Munni Munni (30% interest) – Situated in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, the project is one of Australia’s most significant Platinum Group Metal occurrences. Munni Munni also has potential for conglomerate hosted gold and is a joint venture with Artemis Resources Limited.
Skaergaard (100% interest) – Located in Greenland, the project is one of the world’s largest undeveloped gold deposits and one of the largest palladium resources outside of South Africa and Russia.
Blue Moon (to earn 70% interest) – Located in California, the project is a drill-ready, high-grade zinc-copper-gold deposit with significant valuation upside. Drilling in early 2020 returned some of the highest grades ever intersected at the deposit.
